Feb 2, 1851 2m 7d. Kelsey Jones notes say "This tombstone was rechecked, since it does not seem that 1852 could be correct, more likely being 1831. The stone is somewhat worn, but it does seem to be 1851." Kelsy may not have been aware that the second wife of Peter was also named Louisa. The death of Albert E. is confirmed by tombstone in Watson. The death of Melvin on the same day was recorded in the Jerome Utley notes. While it was not uncommon for families to lose two children in one day during an epidemic, it is unexplained why one is marked on a tombstone and the other is not. Birth dates are not the same.
