Do You Know that you can search just the 600 pages of Tioga County Cemetery Records on the site by using the Cemeteries -Tioga button in the Partitioned search engine at the bottom of the Current What's New Page? If you use that partition follow these steps to search just one cemetery. 
1. Choose Cemeteries - Tioga. 
2. Enter part of the cemetery name [ie Newbury or Furman] AND a surname. 
3. Choose the Find ALL Words option. Then it will find just the pages with that surname in the one cemetery you indicated.

This cemetery was recorded by Donna Allen, Wendy & Eileen Baker. Completed Sept .20 ,2003.  Due to recent storms a tree had fallen on some of the stones and info on those was impossible to get. A few stones are worn and unreadable. Because of the wet weather several areas had standing water and the bugs were terrible. If visiting go with plenty of bug repellant. Approximately 165 names have been added [to the 1968 listing] with several missing dates filled in.
Note from Joyce - In recent obituaries, this cemetery is sometimes called Elk Run Cemetery. This appears to be a recent transition and I have no idea why it is happening. Oct. 2008 - I have been corrected. Elk Run Cemetery is an older name for this cemetery, not a new one.
