This is a transcription of the "Will and Testament of Israel Parshall" of Town of Chemung, Tioga  County, NY (Now Chemung County)  by Jane Webb
In The Name of God, Amen:

I Israel Parshall of the town of Chemung in the County of Tioga & State of New York being of sound mind and memory, knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die – and calling to mind the uncertainty of life, Do make this my last will & testament — First of all I cheerfully recommend my Soul or the immortal part of my body to God who gave it, and my body to the earth from whence it was taken, and to be interred in a christian manner at the discretion of my Executors, herein after mentioned – As to my worldly Estate which it has pleased Almighty God to bless me with. I will & bequeath unto my loving Children hereafter mentioned viz: to Joanna, Ruth, Kesiah, Lydia, Deborah, Jerusha & Anna, daughters, and to Israel and David, sons to be equally divided between them – after all my debts and funeral charges are paid, which I earnestly desire my Executors to pay. And I do now appoint Asa Parshall my son, of the Town of Chemung in the County and State aforesaid and Henry Wells Esq. of the Town of Southport in the said County of Tioga and State of New York, my Executors – and I do now acknowledge this to be my last will & testament, revoking all others, & ratifying and confirming this my last will & testament.
