Estate of Assa Short, decd.
Perry Short Administrator
Letters of Administration in the Estate of Assa Short, deceased,
late of Chatham, Tioga Co. Pa, were this day issued to Perry Short, he
having taken the oath prescribed by law. Lovel Short and Newbery
Short bail in the sum of five hundred dollars.
Letters stamped one 50/100 dollars. Bond stamped one dollar.
September 29, 1869. Inventory filed amounting to $456.86
September 2, 1870 Administrators Account examined
passed and filed.

Tioga County..No. 15..November Term 1870..Estate of Asa Short, dec..Administrations
Account.
I, Darius L. Deane, Register of Wills in and for said County do hereby
certify the within to be a true copy of the account of Perry Short, Administrator
of the Estate of Asa Short, late of Chatham in said County, as the
same was passed and filed in the Registers Office for said County, the
2nd day of September 1870. Witness my hand and the seal of
said office, the 26th day of November 1870. Signed D.
L. Deane, Recorder
Account of Perry Short, Administrator of the Estate of Asa Short, of
Chatham, Tioga Co., Penn, deceased. The said accountant charges
himself with the amount of the personal estate of said decedent filed in
the Registers Office at Wellsboro, vis. $456.86. Also with
the following items of money collected by him, not included in inventory
filed, from Reuben Close $40., Norman Ashton $20., Simon Hurlburt $8.
Totaling $524.86.
Said accountant's allowance for the following disbursements and payments
in behalf of said Estate.
