Dear Joyce,

    I just came across your site, and I thank you for it.

     I've been scanning some old family photos and one is a combo of 3 pictures of my grandparents' home in Canton, PA with my father, Robert Malcolm, his 2 siblings, Margaret and Ermuld, and parents, Charles Sumner and Edna Winta Teeter Dwyer, in the photo.  With zooming, a lot of details can be made out.
     It's labeled "Residence of Dr. Dwyer and family, 1905, Canton, PA."  I heard a few years ago from a now-deceased relative that it's still standing, but I've lived overseas and now near Seattle, so unfortunately I am out of touch.

   And if you want any more family information, I can supply what I know, altho' it's limited because my grandparents died when my father, the youngest, was a teenager.  Ermuld's son is still alive as is one of Margaret's daughters.

October 2004 - Note and new photos from Don Stanton - The Dr. Dwyer House is located a 21 E. Tioga Street in Canton. It then  passed to an Allen, who  sold it to Lyle Burlingame.  At that time the house was in disrepair and the Burlingames made extensive repairs.  They also tore down the barn and replaced it with a garage. It was then owned by Alex Kolis, who was a manager of Swayze Folding Box Company.  It is now occupied by Stacey Ferguson.
