meets at the Bradford County Library in Burlington. The time for
these meetings will be 6:30 PM

The week of July 3rd through 10th, Waverly,NY is having a week long
celebration of its history called "Decades through Time". Several local
historical societies are participating along with an antique auction. There
will be military music and historical pieces in the parade culminating
with a HUGE parade on July 10th at 10 a.m. in the morning. We are even
inviting the governor. Please contact Anne Z. Martin at 607-565-8106 for
information and some events that require tickets. Please come and enjoy

Old Home Day at LeRoy - LeRoy Old Home Day will be held July 3,
2004 at the LeRoy Community Association Grounds, Mill Street, LeRoy, PA.
The day will begin early with several events planned throughout the day,
including a parade at
noon, crafters, home-cooked food, ball game, local history, and
games of skill. Come out and visit the LeRoy Heritage Museum tent, outside
of the future museum, where a display of the upcoming renovation project
will be found. The day will begin at about 9:00 p.m. and last late into
the afternoon. Thanks, Matt Carl - LeRoy Heritage Museum - Tri-Counties
will be there with a booth- Stop in and meet us. |

from Noon till 4 PM, at the Historic School Grounds, in Daggett PA.

The 225th Anniversary of the Battle of Newtown Commemorative Event
Committee announces the date and time of its next meeting. The meeting
to discuss activities and planning for the event to be held August 27,
28 & 29, 2004 will be held at the Chemung County Historical Society's
Education Room at 6 PM on 12/11/03.
