Know very little about Asel Deans and family except that they are in
Elmira in 1850 - 1855 census in Elmira NY probably coming there about 1835.
Asel/Asahel Deans is my direct ancestor born in CT; married Huldah Crocker;
to Bridgewater
(Susquehanna Co.) PA before 1805; left there about 1820 and lose him
till the 1850 census. Only known children would be Emily born PA
1805 and Asahel Jr. born about 1824 NY but probably at least 6 other children.
Asel SR dies before 1860 census. Would be so grateful for ANY CLUE whatsoever
about this family.

We still have not found Philander Erwin GOULD family before he
shows up on marriage records to Patience M BENSON on 20 Aug 1835
in Horsesheads, Chemung
County, New York. Next we find him on the 1840 Census in Bradford County,
PA and thereafter (1850,1860) we find him in Rutland, Tioga County, PA
We believe that Gardner/Gardiner GOULD who married Eunice BENSON (sister
of Patience) was his brother and also live in Tioga Co., PA. We find records
of
Gardner GOULD before those of Philander GOULD. We also find a Frank
GOULD living with Philander at one point.

George Brunner married Emma Jane Ellis of Tioga PA around 1870. He worked in the mines in Arnot PA, walking from Tioga to Arnot on Sunday, spending the week in Arnot and walking home to Tioga on Friday night.

William and Jemima (KIFF) COVERT came to Armenia, Bradford Co., about
1833.
Their son, Erastus COVERT 1829-1872 married Delight/Delia CASE,
daughter of Philander and Betsey (GRANTIER) CASE.
Milton COVERT 1858-1935, son of Erastus and Delight/Delia,
married Sarah Elizabeth FISH, daughter of Horace and Mary (SQUIRE) FISH.
I am most interested in any information on the other children of William and Erastus COVERT. (I know their names and in many cases who they married, but would like to know more about them.) And I would like to know what happened to Horace and Mary FISH. I don't know what happened to Horace and Mary after Milton and Sarah went to Illinois after 1883. I am researching the children of a James and Catherine English, who were residents of Tioga county around at least 1836 or so on. The male child was a Henry Varner (Warner) and the daughter was Mary Varner (Warner). James and Catherine had more children, all 'English' children...but the preceding all came to America from Ireland. My need to know how they came to PA and whether or not they were the legitimate children of Catherine is paramount so that I can begin to look for possible links from Ireland.

Ancestors are George COOK (approx 1822-1892) and first wife Harriet KNOWLES or NOLES (1832-1864) who immigrated to Fallbrook, Tioga Co., PA around 1850 from Wales/England. George's second wife was Amy KNOWLES/NOLES (1842-1921). Children are Emma Elizabeth (married George GARDNER), Mary Ann (m Charles SQUIRES), John (m Isabell JUDGE), Sarah (m William VAUGHN) and James Valentine (m Martha HATHERILL). James and Martha are my grandparents.
George COOK's sister was Anna Maria or Marie Anna (1823-1908) who first married Joseph ENGLAND and came from England/Wales approx 1848 and later Charles PRETHERO/PROTHERO. Anna Maria resided in Blossburg, Tioga Co. from 1856 until her death.
