Greetings,
I am searching for information on ancestors of Adelia M. Hallett.  I'm not sure where she was born or who her parents were. She could have been the daughter of Clarence E. Hallett, 1860, 1917 & Lucy J. Hallett, died on Jan. 10, 1906.
I am guessing that she was either born in East Point, PA or Elmira, NY.   I know that Adelia  Hallett was born on June 4,1887, and died in Jan. 20, 1956.  On May 24, 1911 she married Frederick Harer born June 17, 1883 and died in 1926.  She later married her deceased sister's (Harriet L Hallett)  husband - Samuel Schanbacher, 1885, 1954.
Adelia was a school teacher,  ran a grocery store in East Point and was the Postmaster until the post office in East Point was closed.
All are buried in the Ebenezer Church Yard at East Point, TIOGA COUNTY, PA.

Any information on Adelia's ancestors is appreciated.

My gr-grandmother was Catherine Charlotte Barber.  I have collected quite a bit of info about her Barber ancestors (would love to hear from anyone who has additional info about them, or who is also related to her).  I don't have much about her maternal ancestors--Personius & Beardsley.  I believe they all lived in the tri-county area at one time or another--many in the Townships of Veteran and Catlin in Chemung County; also in Tioga County and maybe Bradford.  I will welcome any additional info!  Thanks.

Seeking information on the family and any descendants of Nelson DAVIS and wife Eunice JONES.  Eunice b. in Mass, 1807, had a twin brother Granville JONES m. to Carolyn Hurd.  The family moved from NY to Tioga Co. and were in the 1860-1880 Delmar twp. censuses.  I'm trying to make a connection with my ggrandfather....Hiram DAVIS and grandfather Fred DAVIS from the Lawrenceville PA area.  I've heard there is a DAVIS, possible descendant, in the Middlebury area who closely resembles my wavy haired brother.  Please contact me, thanks.

Looking for information on Brague Family.  According to Hoagland, Vol. 8, was founded by three brothers Ebenezer, Horace and Charles who came to the Ulster Burlington area in the early days.  I believe Ebenezer Brague b. about 1774 in Ct. and his wife Elizabeth Brandon b. about 1777 in Ct. came to this area with the following children (some may have been born after they came here)  Ebenezer b. about 1804/5 in Ct.,  David b. abt. 1796 in Ct., Horace b. abt. 1810 in Ct. Charles b. abt. 1814 (1850 census says he was born in PA).   Olive b. about 1820 in PA she reportedly married Samuel Strope.  Elizabeth b. about 1800 in CT is listed as a possible daughter, but listed as married to Charles Hawkins.
The death certificate for my gg grandmother lists her mother as Elizabeth Brague and her father as Andrew Johnson.  Andrew Johnson and Elizabeth lived next door to Ebenezer Brague in the 1850 census for Smithfield Twp.  They had a daughter Ellen (my g grandmother) and a son Lafayette b. about 1843.  I suspect that there were either older children or this was a second marriage.   If anyone has any information on this family I would be interested.

Hannah BABCOCK was b. 1766 in CT and migrated with her husband Josiah DEWEY and their children to Sullivan Township. She was present there 1820 and 1830 and died there 1839, buried in King Hill Cemetery. As a Sullivan resident and ancestor of many other Sullivan residents, we badly need her full ancestry.

Also, her son Josiah DEWEY Jr was in Sullivan census 1830 and 1840 and is unaccounted for after that time. Did he emigrate? To where? Descendants?

Another son, Isaac Sheldon Dewey, was also present in 1830 census and unaccounted for after? Where did he go? He was married and had three daughters and one son by 1830.

Still another son, Joseph, was married to Rebecca whose surname is not known. They were in Sullivan until Joseph's death in 1833. I need the surname identity and ancestry of Rebecca.
