Horsin' Around 4-H Club Opens New Year
The Horsin' Around 4-H Club held their first meeting on Sept
8 at Shari O'Neal's horse farm, Route 14, Grover. The leader is Rose
Zeigler and teachers are Shari O'Neal and Pat Gobea. Officers are:
Pres Sara Spencer, VP Stacy Neitz, Sec Norman Westerbaan, Treas Adam Zeigler,
Reporter Alex Robertson, and Sgt at Arms Peter Westerbaan. This 4-H Club
works mainly with horses; riding, grooming, and feeding them. Some
members are also doing a dog project. Membership is open to anyone
between the ages of 8-18. The Club meets every Tues from 6 to 8 pm.
Dues are 50 cents per week. It is recommended that members have a
horse. |
