Ernest Parshall INSCHO

Ernest Parshall Inscho was born June 30, 1877 in Jackson Township, the second child of William Wallace Inscho (SRGP 74996) and Katherine Dorothea Fuller. He graduated from Mansfield Normal Teachers College in 1899 and for two years taught school at Pickle Hill School. He married Mary Zobeide Jones in Elmira, New York on August 15, 1900. Mary was born in Kansas in 1875, but nothing else is known about her or her parents. Their first two children, Carson and Ralph, were born in Tioga County. The last two children, Robert and Dorothy, were born in Birmingham, Alabama where Ernest had established a plumbing business about 1907. During WW I Ernest was superintendent of plumbing and heating at Fort McClellan. After WW II he and two of his sons installed the plumbing in several thousand homes in the Birmingham area.
In 1942 Ernest’s wife, Mary, died and in 1943 he married Mrs. Elise Parsons. After retirement about 1948, Ernest’s plans were to devote time to his flowers, to fishing and to travel. He died August 22, 1955.
