.		 The photograph is of the Emma Crayton - Oliver Messner Family taken in the spring of 1912 at their home in Brookside, PA.  Oliver Samuel Messner was born in Liberty Twp., Tioga County, PA. and was the son of Etta P. Kissinger and Freidrich Reinhold Messner.

In photo from left to right: Emma Lula Crayton "Messner", b. May 25, 1883; Estella Elizabeth Messner, b. 1908; Oliver Samuel Messner, b. May 19, 1879; Ernest Franklin Messner, b. 1911; Viva Mae Messner, b. 1901; Mildred Jacquette Messner, b. 1904; and Cletus Sebastian Messner, b. 1906.

Estella married a Mr. Dorn
Viva married a Mr. Ellenberger
Mildred married a Mr. Crombee
