Joyce's Search Tip - January 2008
Do You Know that you can search just the 700 pages of Military Records on the site by using the Military button in the Partitioned search engine at the bottom of the Current What's New Page
Every once in a while people send in information with no county reference or reference to any other page on the site, so I have  no idea where to put it. This page will collect some of that if I remember I have created it. JMT
Joyce, (MArch 2006)
My name is Jael and I was reading through your website about the Tri-County history and information. I have a book about my family geneaology that my Grandma let me borrow. I would like to give you some more information about some war Veterans I know of from my family. I read about one of my ancestors, William N. Faulkner on your website and would just like to help add some more ancestors that I have read about that served for our country.

Joseph L. Campbell, born Feb. 2, 1908, in Paterson, N.J. U.S. Army 1937-1947. In command 42nd Field Hospital Utah Beach, Normandy and Battle of the Bulge. Retired Army Medical Corps rank of Colonel. Puplic Health Mission to Korea 1958-1960.

George Horace Heath, born Oct. 2, 1885. Veteran World War 1, 102nd Ammunition Train, Company C, 27th Division, served at St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne in 13 battles and engagements.

Donald Rees, born Dec. 15, 1909. Veteran World War 2, Sgt., 6th Armored Division, European Theatre 1941-1945; holder of Silver Star and Purple Heart.

Ethan Lewis, born Aug. 24, 1923. He spent 1943-1946 in U.S. Army in Japan, Argentina, and New Guinea.

Robert Gordon Campbell, born Dec. 30, 1925. Veteran Coast Guard, World War 2, Pacific Theatre, Saipan, Iwo Jima, Tarawa.

Marjorie Roberta Campbell Hilbish, born Mar. 1, 1922. Ist Lt. Army Nursing Corps, 1943-1945, Hawaii.

I will continue reading my family geneaology book and looking around your website to see if I can add anything else. I hope this information is helpful.

Sincerely, Jael Greene
