 1.  Nancy1 Mosher,  daughter of Nicholas Mosher and Hannah Soper, (#2262) was born in Pennsylvania 11 AUG 1829.  Nancy died 1909 in Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 79.  Her body was interred 1909 in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.

 She married Charles McConnell 28 JUN 1845.  (Charles McConnell is #2261.)  Charles was born 8 JUN 1821 in New York.  Charles was the son of James McConnell Sr. and Sally Gray.  Charles died 1899 in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 78.  His body was interred 1899 in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Charles registered to pay taxes 1845 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.   In the Census of 1850, Charles was listed as a head of household in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Charles living next door to his mother on Scouten Hill is a farmer. Augustus Cass in the same household is also a farmer.

       Nancy Mosher and Charles McConnell had the following children:

      2  i.  William Andrew2 McConnell (#5263) was born in Bradford County, Pennsylvania 23 OCT 1847.  Individual flags: Obituary.  William died 29 JUL 1905 in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 57.  Obituary: William Andrew McCONNELL, of the boro, was found dead in his bed at an early hour Monday morning. Heart failure was, without doubt, the cause of his death, as he was lying on his right side in exactly the same position he took on retiring the night before. Death had apparently come to him within a few moments after lying down. At the time of the railroad accident here last January Mr. McConnell was injured but not seriously. Since then, however, his health had not been so robust as formerly, and at times he would be compelled to suspend work for a day or two. His condition had at no time been considered alarming, and the news of his death came as a shock to the community.
    William A. McCONNELL was born in Bradford County, PA, Oct 23, 1847, and has lived in this vicinity for more than forty years past. During the earlier years of his life he followed the occupation of farming, but for the past seventeen years had been in the employ of W. D. ROSE, of this place. Five years ago he moved to this boro and has resided here since. He was held in high esteem by his fellow citizens and last spring completed a term as member of its Official Board. William A. McCONNELL was a good citizen, an honorable and open-hearted man.
    On April 21, 1871, he was married to Ellen A. WATSON, of this boro, and seven children have blessed their union. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Charles W. of Mansfield, Herbert W., of Elmira, and Lee R. of Canton, and four daughters, Mrs. Claude Ely, of East Charleston, Minnie E., Dora E., and Mildred R., all of$Mansfield. Besides his wife and children, his aged mother and two brothers, Samuel B. and Allen N., both of Mansfield, also survive him.
    The funeral services were held this afternnon at 2 o'clock from his late residence, his pastor Rev. Theron R. GREEN, officiating. His remains were laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery. His body was interred JUL 1905 in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  He married Helen A. Watson 27 APR 1871 in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  (Helen A. Watson is #5264.)
    Helen was born 1850.  Helen was the daughter of Russell Watson and Sarepta S. Page.  Helen died 1934 at age 84.

      3  ii.  Samuel B. McConnell (#5265) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 11 DEC 1850.  Samuel died 26 JUL 1927 at age 76.  He married Augusta Lewis 9 DEC 1874 in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  (Augusta Lewis is #5266.)  Augusta was born 1855 in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Augusta was the daughter of Sidney T. Lewis and Polly Seymour.  Augusta died 16 NOV 1946 at age 91.  Mansfield Advertiser - 9th Dec. 1874: Married Samuel McConnell & MIss Augusta Lewis both of Richmond Twp. by Rev. W. Beach at his home.
    Samuel was listed in a directory in Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1899.   McConnell Samuel B (Mansfield) r 29, thresher and hay presser and farmer, 95 
      4  iii.  Lucy E. McConnell (#5267) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 14 APR 1853.  Individual flags: Newspaper.  Lucy died 1899 at age 46.  Her body was interred 1899 in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  She married Rev. Lawrence L. Grover 30 MAY 1876 in Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Mansfield Advertiser 7th Jun 1876: Married Lawrence L. Grover of Mansfield and Miss Lucy E. McConnell of Richmond May 30th home of bride by Rev. Henry Bray. (Rev. Lawrence L. Grover is #5268.) 
    Lawrence was born 1856.  Lawrence was the son of Lafayette Grover and Mary Eliza Dailey*.  Lawrence died 1917 at age 61.  His body was interred 1917 in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. 


      5  iv.  Allen Nicholas McConnell (#5269) was born 14 JAN 1861.  Allen died 1937 at age 76.  His body was interred 1937 in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  He married Mattie Cobb BEF 1888.  (Mattie Cobb is #5270.)  Mattie was born 1869 in Ireland.  Mattie was the daughter of Albert Cobb*.  Mattie died 1904 in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 35.  Her body was interred 1904 in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Obituary: Mrs. Allen McConnell died last Sunday morning at her home on the Newtown Road, aged 35 years, one month and six days. She had been ill two weeks. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cobb, of Mill Creek, and a sister of Mrs. William West of Augusta, Montana. She had long been a member of the Methodist church of this boro, and enjoyed the cordial esteem of a large circle of Acquaintances. Besided her husband, Mrs. McConnell leaves three daughters and three sons, the eldest 16 and the youngest 5 years old. The funeral services will be held today at 1 o'clock from the M. E. Church, the Rev. George E. Hutchings officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
    Allen was listed in a directory in Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1899.   Farmer 86 acres. 
      6  v.  Estella J. McConnell (#5271) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 20 AUG 1872.  She married Claude N. Ely*.  (Claude N. Ely* is #5272.)  Claude was listed in a directory in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1899.   Ely Claude N, student, h Normal ave cor St James 

      7  vi.  Charles McConnell (#5273) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania after 1872.  Charles died 1905 at age 32.
