Note from Joan NASH O'Dell - The violin that Lena played was reported to
have been made by a member of the Lewis family. If I remember correctly,
it is 3/4 in size and is still present in Lena's residence in the Mann
Creek area of Richmond.
The place known as "Robin Hood" was owned by the Odells in the 1930s
and this group used to play there for the community square dances
The Odell, Lewis, and Rieppel families were neighbors. Lena Lewis and
Paul Rieppel married.
