The following information was included on an insert in the bible belonging to Charles Wilmot Knapp and Mary Virginia Ring who were married in St Louis, Missouri on the 9th of September 1874. Charles was born in Bradford County, probably Wells Township. He was the son of David Gordon Knapp and Arminda Baker as well as the grandson of Zephanian Knapp. The Bible is in the possession of Harold Knapp, grandson of Charles and Mary. The information contained in the insert was obviously written by someone other than the person who made most of the entries. The misspellings below are not accidental and are intended to accurately portray the information recorded. It appears that the Bible is mostly a Ring/Gemeny Bible and the insert was added for the Knapps.

Attached in MS Word format is the data contained in the Bible of Charles Wilmot Knapp and Mary Virginia Ring. Charles was born in Bradford County, PA. I believe in Wells Township. His parents were David Gordon Knapp and Arminda Baker. The Bible contains records from the Ring side of the family and therefore, aren't from the TriCounty area. But they are included anyway. I have included some annotations in the document to explain some typos and provide some background information. The Bible belonged to the Knapps (Charles and Mary) while they lived in St Louis, Missouri.
