Good morning.
I have the following Family Bible entries regarding the Isaac Custar
(Custar) family who resided in Bradford County, PA in about 1820-1850.
They are from
the Family Bible of James H. Twogood late of Boise, Idaho.
From records at the Idaho Historical Society, Mrs. Permelia Custar Twogood
had several sisters
living at Boise by the turn of the century.
These are the entries:
Isaac Custer born June 23 1797
his wife Louisa Elizabeth Cole born May 4, 1807
Children:
Delilah Custar born September 6 1826
Rosina L. Custar born January 28 1828
Almira B. Custar born September 4, 1829
George W. Custar born July 8 1832
Miles (or Niles) B. Custar born March 28 1834
Permelia A. Custar born January 25, 1837 (married James Henry
Twogood in
Marion, Linn, Iowa)
William W. Custar born September 13 1838
Harriet H. (or A.) Custar born May 17 1840
Letty L. Custar born January 28 1847
Sally A. Custar born June 13 1849
Bible is in possession of a direct descendant of James and Permelia
Twogood
residing at Portland, Oregon as of 2000. I have copies only.
