If someone wants more information than what is provided in our family Bible, please let me know or have them contact me.  I'll tell you this much, Daniel and Elizabeth Furman were married at Pine Creek, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  However, they and several of their children are buried in Eldora, Iowa as well as Elizabeth's father Samuel Babcock (and his third wife) who lived in Tioga County for a while.

In the front of the Bible on a flyleaf is written:  "Presented to Myrtie E. Howe by Grandma Furman (Elizabeth C. BABCOCK Furman)."
