[The Saint Mary’s Cemetery Extension was created when the original Saint Mary’s Cemetery was close to capacity. These four burials took place. Subsequently, the original Saint Mary’s was enlarged and burials in the Extension ceased. Approximately 200 yards of woodland separate the two. Few people know the geneses of the Extension and it has been rumored that one or more Priests are buried there. This story is not true.]
