It has been a number of years since I have corresponded with you directly or have done anything with my own genealogy work.  Like many, my career, family and personal obligations get in the way of devoting the time required to do the necessary research.  My Donley and Coates lines have both stalled in Bradford County.

Many years ago, my mother gave me a book that belonged to her mother - Hattie A. Donley.  My grandmother was born in Standing Stone in 1892 and spent her adolescence in that area.  As a young girl, she maintained a birthday book entitled, "Tennyson - A Book of Birthday Gems.  Each page contained one day of the calendar, a quotation and a space for writing in the name and birthday information of friends and family.  I have taken the time to transcribe the 267 names and dates onto an Excel spreadsheet for the Bradford County website.  It appears that each name and birth year was written by the individual.  I believe this improves the reliability of the information.  I recalled seeing many of the surnames in my earlier searches - Stevens, VerBryck, Kingsley, Westbrook, Mitchell, etc.
