This Indenture

the First Day of february in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and Eight Between Mark Willcox
of Concord Township County of Delaware Sate of Pennsylvania |
Merchant and Mary his wife of the one part and Richard Mittchell of the
County of Lycoming State of Pennsylvania Farmer of the other part
Whereas
the said Mark Willcox at the Sealing and Delivery of these presents is
Seized in ffee Simple of the premisses hereafter mentioned
Now This Indenture Witnesseth
that the said Mark Willcox for and in Consideration of the Sum of one Hundred
and thirty five Dollars & Fifty Cents of Lawful Money of the United
States paid and Secured to be paid by the said Richard Mitcell [sic] the
Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath
granted Bargained Sold Aliened enfeoffed Released and confirmed and by
these presents
doth grant
bargain Sell Alien enfeoff Release and Confirm unto the said Richard Mitchell
his heirs & Assigns forever
All
that piece or parcel of land Situate in the township of Tioga Beginning
at a post thence by Vacat Land North Forty five Degrees East Fifty one
perches to a post thence North Forty five Degrees West One Hundred and
Ninety six perches to a white pine thenence [sic] by vacant Land South
Forty two West Fifty one perches to a post thence by Land of Tho
s
Mitchell South forty five Degrees East One Hundred and Ninety
Six
perches five perches to the place of Beginning Containing Sixty
acres and thirty Seven perches and allowance of Six per cent for Roads
etc (Which said piece or parcel of Land being part and parcel of a Tract
of land called Woodberry was Surveyed in pursuance of a warrant Dated 7
th
May One thousand Seven hundred and eighty five Granted to the Robert Crozier
who by Deed Conveyed the same dated 16
th August 1804 to the
said mark Willcox which was further Conveyed by patent from the Commonwealth
Pennsylvania dated the 6
th Day of October 1804 to the said Mark
Willcox)
Together with all
and Singular the Erections and buildings thereon erected and built Woods
Ways Waters Watercourses Rights liberties privileges Improvements Hereddaments
and appurtenances and the Reversion & reversions and Remainders Rents
Issues and profits thereof and all the estate Right Title Interest Claim
and Demand whatsoever of the said Mark Willcox of in and to the said premises
hereby Bargained and Sold and every part thereof To have and to hold the
said piece or parcel of Land and Erections of buildings thereon erected
and built with the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said Richard
Mitchell his heirs and assigns forever and that it shall and may be lawful
to and for the said Richard Mitchell his Heirs and Assigns from time to
time and at all times hereafter peaceably and quietly to have hold use
occupy possess and enjoy all Singular the said premises hereby Conveyed
with their every of their appurtenances and to have take and receive the
rents Issues and profits thereof without the molestation interruption or
disturbances of by or from the said Mark Willcox his heirs and assigns
or by or from any other person or persons whomsoever and that free and
Clear and freely & Clearly Acquited exonerated and discharged (or otherwise
from time to time and at all times hereafter will and Sufficently Saved
Warranted Defended kept harmless and Indemnified by the said Mark Willcox
his Heirs Executors or Administrators) of from and against all and all
maner of fromer [sic] and other Gifts grants Claims Bargains Sales leases
Mortgages Judgements executions extents forefitures charges and Incumberances
whatsoever heretofore had had made Committed Omitted done or Suffered or
hereafter to be had made Committed Omitted done or Suffered by the said
Mark Willcox his heirs or assigns or by any other person or persons whomsoever
Claiming the said Premises or any part thereof shall Warrant and Defend
In Witness whereof the said parties have hereunto sett their hand and Seals

Mitchell the sum of one Hundred and thirty five Dollars and fifty cents
being the full Consideration money to be paid by him to me

before me Hugh Lloyd Esq
r Judge of the County of Delaware the
within named Mark Willcox Esquire and Mary his wife who acknowledged the
within written Deed to be their act and Deed and Desired the same might
be Recorded as Such the said Mary Willcox having ben examined seperately
and apart from her Said husband and Declared that She acknowledged the
Same Deed to be
his her act and Deed without any compultion
