This Indenture, Made the Sixteenth Day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one Between Uriah Spencer of Delmar Township County of Tioga and the State of Pennsylvania and Elenor his Wife and William Morten of Lower Bethel Township County of Northampton and State of Pennsylvania, of the one part, and Richard Mitchel |
Beginning at a white pine South fifty Degrees East one hundred and twenty five Perches to a Hemlock thence North Sixty five Degrees East eighty nine perches to a white pine thence North fifty Degrees west eighty two perches to the place of beginning Containing one hundred Acres be the same more or less it being part of a tract of Land in Tioga County granted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by Warrant Number three hundred and Sixty one Dated the twentyeth Day of May anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five to Joseph Martin & Together with all and Singular, the Houses, out houses, building, barn, Stables, ways, woods, waters, watercourse, rights, liberties, privileges, heredidaments and appurtenances Whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in or in any wise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, thereof, and all the estate, right title interest, use, posession, property, claim and Demand whatsoever of them the said Uriah Spencer & William Martin their Heirs respectively, of, in and to the same, To have And to hold, the said piece or parcel of land, hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned to be granted, with the appurtenances unto the said Richard Mitchel his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Richard Mitchel his heirs and Assigns forever — And the said Uriah Spencer and William Martin for themselves and their heirs, doth covenant, promise and grant to and with the said Richard Mitchel his heirs and assigns by these presents, that they the said Uriah Spencer and William Martin and their heirs, the said Described tract of land, heriditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned to be granted, with the appurtenances unto the said Richard Mitchel his heirs and assigns against them the said Uriah Spencer and wiliam Martin and their Heirs, and against all other person

Be it remembered that on the Seventeenth Day of February Anno Domini
one thousand eight hundred and twenty one before my the Subscriber an associate
Judge of Tioga County personally appeared Uriah Spencer and Elenor his
wife & William Morton parties of the first to the above written Indenture
and acknowledged the same to be their act and Deed for the purpose therein
mentioned with intent; that the same be recorded according to law—the said
Elenor being by me examined apart from her Said husband, Declared she signed
the same of her own free will & accord & without any compulsion
from her said Husband Witness my hand & Seal the Day & year before
