This Indenture made this twenty first day of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine, Between Henry H. Dent of Brookland Potter Co Pennsylvania of the one part, and Richard J. Inscho of Tioga Co. State aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, That the party of the first part in consideration of the sum of five hundred and ninety six dollars and eighty five cents, to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, and confirm to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, the following described tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the township of Jackson County of Tioga and State of Pennsylvania, described as follows; viz: Beginning at the North West corner of lot Number one hundred and forty one Deeded by said Dent to Stephen Morrill by Deed dated the first day of February AD, 1864 thence West one hundred and eighty nine and eight tenths rods to South West corner of lot Number one hundred and thirty four, Deeded by said Dent to Alonzo Lattin by Deed dated the first day of June AD. 1859, Thence South one hundred and thirty eight and four tenths rods to a corner thence East fifty six and six tenths rods to a corner, thence South twenty rods to a corner, thence East one hundred and thirty eight and four tenths rods to a corner the South West corner of lot Number one hundred and seventy three deeded by said Dent to T.H. Sisson by Deed dated the first day of August A.D. 1866, thence North one fourth of a degree West one hundred and fifty seven rods to the place of beginning. Containing one hundred and seventy two and seven tenths acres more or less being lot Number one hundred and forty on the plat of said Dents lands in Jackson township and part of Warrant 3366 Subject nevertheless to a certain contract heretofore to wit: On the sixth day of December A.D. 1852 entered into by and between said Dent and Stephen Orcutt which contract is hereby assigned set over and transferred for a valuable consideration to said Richard J. Inscho the amount estimated to be due on said contract this day being five hundred and ninety six dollars and eighty five cents, Together with all and singular the woods, underwoods, timber, waters, water courses ways, houses, fences, improvements, rights, members, hereditaments and appurtenances, thereto belonging, or in any way appertaining and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof and of every part and parcel thereof; and also all the estate, right, title interest benefit property, claim and demand whatsoever in law or equity of the said party of the first part of in and to the same and every part and parcel thereof. To have and to hold the same to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year first above written, H.H. Dent (Seal), Sealed and delivered in the presence of us, S.H. Martin State of Pennsylvania County of Potter, to wit: On the first day of February in the year of our Lord 1870, before me, the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, personally appeared the above named Henry H. Dent of Brookland Potter Co. Pennsylvania and acknowledged the above.
