Last Will & Testament of Robert Potter, late of Columbia deceased.
I Robert Potter of Columbia Township in the County of Bradford Pa.,
knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death have thought
proper to make and ordain this my last will & testament in manner and
form following viz;
First, my will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid
out of the just money that shall come into the hands of my executors.
Second, I give and bequeath to my son Elisha R. Potter the sum of fifty
dollars, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Hagerman fifty dollars,
I give and bequeath to my grandson Robert P. Hagerman fifty dollars, I
give and bequeath to my daughter Betsey Potter fifty dollars,
All the rest and residue of my estate goods and chatels I give and
bequeath to George H. Potter, Nathan W. Potter and Nancy Potter to be equally
divided between them provided they the said George H. Potter, Nathan W.
Potter and Nancy Potter shall provide maintain & support my daughter
Ceclia Potter in a good comfortable manner so long as she shall live and
further more I nominate and constitute, I appoint George H. Potter and
Nathan W. Potter my sole executors to this my last will and testament hereby
revoking all other and former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal the S4th day
of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty four.
