Know all men by these presents that I, David Sherman of the Town of Pike County of Bradford and State of Pennsylvania for the consideration of one hundred and fifty dollars received to my full satisfaction of Susannah Sherman of the Town of Pike County of Bradford and State of Pennsylvania have remised released and forever quit claimed unto unto her said Sherman her liens and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land situated in the aforesaid township of Pike beginning at the hemlock stump on the state road thence along said road S. 68 deg. E. forth three and a half perches to a stake and stones thence S. 57 deg. E. 23 1/2 perches to a Juneberry stump thence south 10 deg. W. one hundred and sixty perches to a hemlock tree thence N. 65 deg. W. sixty seven perches to a stake. Thence N. 10 deg. E. one hundred and sixty perches to the beginning containing sixty seven acres to hold the said premises with all the appurtenances thereof unto her the said Sherman her heirs and assigns forever in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seals this the twenty first day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight. David Sherman signed sealed and delivered in the presence of Albert Lewis George Lewis__ January 16th 1829 personally appeared David Sherman and acknowledged the within indenture to be his free act and deeds witness.
