Civilian Conservation Corps

| This example is engraved on the tombstone itself. The Civilian
Conservation Corps was a public service project implememnted by President
Franknlin Roosevelt to employ people at teh end of the Great Depression. The
participants planted many treees and helped to reestablisht our depleted
forests. They also performed labor in may parks which remains in effect to this
