Miss Julia Murray, of Elmira, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. William B. Murray, of Addison Hill and Joseph Roach, of Corning, were married in St. Thomas Church in Elkland last week Tuesday morning at 8 o’clock by Rev. Eugene H. O’Boyle. The bride wore a gown of canton crepe with hat to match, and carried white roses.  The bride’smaid, Miss Agnes Kelley, of Tioga, a cousin of the bride, wore a pink satin gown with hat to match and carried a bouquet of pink rose buds.  The best man was Jerry Grady, of Corning. Immediately after the wedding an elaborate four-course breakfast was served in the Hotel Signor.  Pink and white roses made the room a bower of beauty.  Covers were laid for following:  Mr. And Mrs. James Rouch, Mr. And Mrs. William B. Murray, of Addison Hill, parents of the bride; Mrs. Johanna Roach, of Corning, mother of the bridegroom; Miss Agnes Kelley, of Tioga; Jerry Grady, of Corning; Father Eugene H.O. Boyle, of Elkland; Lawrence Murray and wife, of Elkland, brother of the bride, and Mr. And Mrs. Robert Adams, of Wellsboro, cousins of the bride.  The bride is a charming and accomplished young lady.  She is a graduate of the training school for nurses at the Arnot-Ogden hospital of Elmira, where she has held the responsible position of supervisor of the institution since her graduation in 1921. The bridegroom is a prominent business man of Corning and is well and favorably known. They have hosts of friends throughout this section who join in extending best wishes.  They left by auto Tuesday afternoon on a wedding trip to New York city and upon their return will make their home in Corning--Journal.
