The Agitator: Wellsboro Wednesday December 20, 1916
Grace V. Ridge and Alfred Pequignot, both of Liberty, were married Friday morning at 11 oclock, at the First Baptist Parsonage in Elmira, by Rev. W.T. Henry.

Sparling - Pequignot
Miss Althea J. Pequignot, daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Pequignot, of Liberty, and Francis L. Sparling, son of Mr and Mrs Ward Sparling, of Mansfield, were married at the Baptist Church at Towson, Md., by Rev. Thomas Ellis, March 26, 1943.

Fete Leon Ostrom's with open house Sunday afternoon Mr and Mrs Leon Ostrom, of Liberty, will be honored on the occasion of their  50th wedding anniversary by a open house. The event, planned by their  family, will be held at their home Sunday, Oct.8, from 1-5 pm. Friends are  invited. The former Elizabeth Pequignot and Mr Ostrom were married October 8, 1917 in Wellsboro. The Rev. C. William Sheriff officiated at the ceremony. They are the parents of Mrs George Krise, of Pine City, N.Y. and the late Howard Ostrom of Liberty. There are eight grandchildren.

MISS ANNA WERLINE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Werline of Liberty was married at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 1st to Ray Tripp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Tripp of Blossburg.  The marriage took place in the Salem Lutheran Church at Liberty RD.Mrs. Tripp is a graduate of Liberty High School.  Her husband attended the Blossburg High School and is employed at the W and K Manufacturing Company.

September 2, 1971
Miss Cynthia Lee Beck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Beck of Liberty, and ROBERT CRIST, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Crist, Trout Run, were married at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 1971, in Friedens Lutheran Church at Liberty.  The Rev. Donald Olson officiated.  Given in marriage by her father, the bride had her sister, Mrs. Linda Long, Williamsport, as matron of honor.  Bridesmaids were:  Misses Kathy Ide, Dallas, and Cynthia Crist, sister of the bridegroom.  The bride wore a gown of silk organza embroidered with lilies of the valley and daisies.  The gown featured an empire waistline, long full sleeves, and satin ribbon trim.  A daisy embroidered bonnet held her veil of illusion.  She carried a bouquet of daisies and baby breath.  The attendants wore sheer
flocked cotton and taffeta gowns, the matron of honor in lavender and the bridesmaids in pink.  Steve Stiger Slatington, was best man.  Ushers were George Pittinger, Trout Run, and Russell Beck, Liberty RD1, brother of the bride.  A reception was held in the church social room.  After a wedding trip to Watkins Glen, NY, the couple will live in Rose Valley.  The bride is a graduate of Liberty High School and is a student at Mansfield State College.  Her husband is a graduate of Williamsport High School, is a sheetmetal worker employed by Montour Auto, Montoursville.

MABEL D. WERLINE

Thursday, September 8, 1910
MISS MABEL D. WERLINE, of Liberty, and  EARL C. MUSSER, of Sheffield, PA, were married last Wednesday at 11 o’clock at the home of the bride by the Rev. Mr. Berry of Bellefonte.   The decorations were pink and white lilies.  After the ceremony was performed, the bride and groom started for their new home in Greensville, PA.  Guests were present from State College, Wellsboro, Bellefonte, and Williamsport.
