CLEMENS S. ANDRUS, age 92, formerly of Doty Hill Rd., South Creek Township, PA, died Tuesday, January 21, 1997.  He was born in South Creek Township, July 19, 1904, the son of the late Elmer and Clara Aber Andrus.  Friends may call at Roberts Funeral Home, Wellsburg, Friday 1-3 PM.  Funeral and committal services there immediately following at 3 PM.  Rev. Donald Rockwell, officiating.  Interment Doty Hill Cemetery, South Creek Township, PA at the convenience of the family.  Survived by his daughters, Phyllis Robinson of Wellsburg, NY, and Clara (James) Cease of Millersville, Maryland; step-son, Richard (Joyce) Berry of Gillett, PA; grandchildren, Candie Healey of Elmira, NY, Vern (Tina Robinson of Wellsburg, NY, Echo (Daniel) McGovern also of Wellsburg, NY, and David (Lori) Ease of Glen Burnie, Maryland; 6 great-grandchildren.  Also several nieces and nephew.  Mr. Andrus was a 75 year member of the Fassett Grange and was an area farmer all of his life.  He was predeceased by his wives, Ruth Ruggless Andrus, June 1980 and Helen Berry Andrus, in August 1993.  –Elmira Star Gazette.

Alexander J. Campbell died Thursday at the family home on Kinners’ Hill, near Millerton, PA., aged eighty-six years.  The funeral will be held in the Millerton Methodist Episcopal Church, Monday, April 15, at 11 a.m.  The burial will be in the cemetery at Ridgebury, Pa.

KENNEDY –EMMA PRISCILLA ANDRUS, 73, widow of C. A. Andrus, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Campbell at Doty Hill, Pa., Tuesday at 12-45 p.m.  Mrs. Andrus is survived by three sons, Clarence J. Dunn, formerly of Geneva; Harry Andrus of Elmira; Claude Andrus of Gillett, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. C. E. Newell of Gillett, Pa.; Mrs. Frank Campbell, of Doty Hill, Pa.; a brother, J. H. Kennedy of Buffalo; a sister Mrs. Olive Miller of Elmira.  The following grandchildren; Arthur Newell of New York; Clifford Newell of Elmira; Wallace and Lillian Newell of Gillett, Pa.; Kenneth Andrus of Gillett, Pa.; Clarence Campbell of Doty Hill, Pa.  The funeral will be held at the home of Mrs. Frank Campbell, at Doty Hill.  Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Burial at Doty Hill Cemetery.  (p.
