ALDERMAN Charles "Chuck" Age 75, of Van Etten, NY, died Thursday, June 17, 2004 at his home. He was born in Marlinton, West Virginia, the son of the late Lawrence Drennen Alderman and Mary Ramsey. He was also predeceased by his brother, Gray Alderman; and sister, Hilda Murphy. Chuck is survived by a loving community family and caregivers of Van Etten; nephew, Kyle Murphy, Japan; cousins, Norman and Keith Alderman and family, WV, Susan Smith, Beaver Falls, WV; and numerous cousins in West Virginia. Chuck was a member of the Van Etten Community Methodist Church. He was active in the community, enjoying sports by coaching and writing. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Van Etten Community Methodist Church. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to time of service. Rev. William Vallet and Rev. Norman Alderman will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Van Etten, NY. Steven W. "Chet" Age 51, of Van Etten, died Sunday, November 26, 2006, at Arnot Odgen Medical Center, after a brief illness. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Linda and Mark Dean, Lancaster, NY, Robin and Jerry Barefoot, Wichita, KS, Edward and Donna Austin, Van Etten, Thomas and Joan Austin, Elmira, Robert and Lisa Austin, Carthage, MO; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Betty (Kambeitz) Austin. Steven graduated from Spencer-Van Etten High School. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer, with Rev. Clarence R. Windnagle officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. before the service. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Van Etten, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

BASTIAN - GARLAND
Ruth E. Bastian Age 90, of Spencer, died Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. She was born in Newfield, NY on October 22, 1914, the daughter of the late Sanford and Grace (Jackson) Bastian. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Claude) Bailey, Spencer; grandson, Jay (Michelle) Bailey, Erin; great-grandson, Jacob Rorick, Spencer; three great-granddaughters, Brianna, Kayla, and Alexis Bailey, all of Erin; beloved friends, Marie Shappee, Spencer. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Gerald M. Garland; brothers, Cliff and William Bastian; sisters, Ethel and Velma Marshall. There are no calling hours. A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2005, at 9 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery, Van Etten, NY. Memorial may be directed to Spencer Emergency Squad, P.O. BRIGGS Sylvia D. Bellinger

67, of Van Etten, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at Elderwood, Waverly, NY. She was born on January 14, 1946 in Waverly, NY, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Lou (Bastian) Briggs. She was predeceased by husband, Robert T. Bellinger, Sr. and sister-in-law, Meg Briggs. Sylvia is survived by son, Robert T. (Christina) Bellinger, Jr., Van Etten; daughter, Cindy Briggs, Spencer; daughter, Lori (Michael) Ferrier, Van Etten; grandchildren: Kyle, Kayla, Johnathan, Christopher, Savannah, Jeffery, Tiffini, Stephen, Justin, Troy, Jarrett; great grandson, Owen; two brothers, Jake (Lynn) Briggs, Milton (Linda) Briggs, both of Van Etten; nieces and nephews. Sylvia was a member of the Van Etten Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be Monday, March 11, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. at the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. 54, Elmira, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at Geneva, NY. He was born in Waverly, NY July 12, 1957. He is survived by son, Randy Davis, Jr; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Whisper; two brothers, Tony and Michael Davis; sister, Shelley Davis Morrow; nieces and nephews. DAVIS Robert S.
Age 60, of Owego, died in the presence of his family Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He is survived by his wife, Dora Barrows, Owego; son, Rob Davis, Owego; daughter, Joleen Stubbs, Barton; seven grandchildren, William, Justin, Spencer and Kyle Davis, Ashley and Katelyn Stubbs, Trevor Wheeler; three brothers, Michael, Tony and Randy Davis; sister, Shelly Davis; nieces and nephews. EDDY Jerry Eddy

of Van Etten, age 87, died June 30th after a brief stay in the Chemung County Nursing Facility. Jerry was the son of Carey and Jessie Eddy of Piercefield, NY. He was predeceased by a son, Mark. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; daughters, Linda Miller (Phil) of Palmyra, PA, Colleen Webster (Chris) of Southport, NC, Carrie Van Riper (Jim) of Morrisville, NY, Brenda Quick (Lloyd) of Candor, NY, Irene Anderson (Bill) of Yorkville, IL, and Kathleen Eddy of Simpsonville, SC; sons, James (Sue) of Greensboro, NC, Keith of Van Etten, NY, Kevin (Sherri) of South Padre Island, TX, Richard (Lori) of Reading, PA, and Robert (Yvette) of Canton, GA; 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Thelma Pepe; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry proudly served his country as a surgical technician in the 60th field hospital during World War II, serving in 5 campaigns. He attended Canton Ag & Tech and Watertown School of Commerce before becoming a Specialty Advertising Salesman, then owner of Eddy Advertising Service. Jerry was an active member of the Van Etten-Spencer VFW Post 8139 and the Candor American Legion Post 907. Jerry had a passion for sports and was deeply involved in local youth athletics. He coached Little League Baseball in Van Etten. Jerry helped established the Spencer-Van Etten Athletic Booster Club. He started the Middle School Wrestling Program at Spencer-Van Etten. Jerry was the biggest fan to his children in all of their pursuits. Friends are invited on Saturday, July 7th, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at 92 Main St., Van Etten, NY. The memorial service will start at 3:00, reception to follow. Military honor service at 6:00 p.m. at the top of Mt. Hope Cemetery, Van Etten, NY. FLORA Douglas Steven Flora

age 44, of Tres Pinos, Calif., formerly of Van Etten, N.Y., died on June 23, 2013, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  He was predeceased by his father Gerald Flora in 2009.  He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth (Joshua) Siegard of Barton, N.Y.; grandson, Mason Siegard; mother, June Flora of Van Etten, N.Y.; sisters, Penny Flora of Lansing, N.Y., and Pamela (David) Golden, Ithaca, N.Y.; brother Allen (Marjorie) Flora of Las Vegas, Nev.; companion Charlene King of Tres Pinos, Calif., and her children, Alissa and Alex; two nieces; and many other extended family members.  He was a graduate of Spencer-Van Etten class of 1987 and graduated from San Jose State University in December of 1999 with a Bachelor of science degree in business administration, specializing in finance.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1992, training as an EMT/Paramedic. During this time, he received many decorations including: combat medical badge, sharpshooter badge with rifle component bar, expert badge with grenade component bar, army service ribbon, armed forces expeditionary medal, parachutist badge, Army achievement medal, air assault badge, Army good conduct medal, noncommissioned officer professional development ribbon, national defense service medal, multinational force and observers medal, expert field medical badge, and ranger tab.  He then served in the Army reserves from 1993 until 1995.  He was a Life Member of V.F.W. Post #8139, Van Etten, N.Y.  After the army he worked in the health care field, becoming certified in California as a licensed vocational nurse. He then began his climb up the corporate ladder as a LTC nursing supervisor, then a charge nurse, a liason between line companies and medical staff, case manager/marketing director and finally, nursing home administrator before moving on to sell real estate.  He started at Intero Real Estate Services as a broker associate and then in 2010 he started The Flora Real Estate Group of Hollister, Calif., where he became a very successful broker.  Flora Real Estate Group was certified as a veteran owned small business and was a member of San Bonito Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He enjoyed traveling, cigars, golf, Poker, wine and people.  Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday July 6, 2013 at Allen-Manzer Funeral Home, Spencer, N.Y. 72, Van Etten, NY, died Saturday, August 22, 2009, at home. He was born in Brownsville, PA, July 1, 1937. He is survived by his wife, June M. (Pratt) Flora; two daughters and two sons, Penny Flora, Lansing, Allen (Marjorie) Flora, Las Vegas, NV, Pamela (David) Golden, Ithaca, Douglas Flora, Tres Pinos, CA; five grandchildren, Jessica Golden, Ashley Golden, Elizabeth Flora, Douglas Flora, Leland Flora; sisters, Joyce Broida, Long Boat Key, FL and Norma (Donald) Southard, Toano, VA; brothers, Leonard (Barbara) Flora, Horseheads and Danny (Sandra) Flora, Lockwood; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and very special companion, "Charlie." Jerry was predeceased by parents, Charles and Pearl (Cundy) Flora; brothers, Charles Jr. and Timothy; sister, Patricia Flora Brown. Jerry retired from Streeter Associates in Elmira after 38 years as carpenter. He was a member of Local 281 Carpenters Union for 50 years. He was a member of Van Etten Fire Department. Jerry had supervised on the Van Etten Town Highway building and worked on the Van Etten-Spencer VFW Post 8139 building edition. JAYNE Steven A. Jayne

age 54, of 289 Walter Smith Terrace, Apt 104, Corning died unexpectedly Monday, December 5, 2011 at Corning Hospital, Corning.  Steven was born in Corning on December 19, 1956, the son of Vincent and the late Betty (Ribble) Jayne.  He was employed by Tops Market, Big Flats, NY where he was a general laborer for twelve years.   Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, collecting guns and spending time with his family and friends.  He is survived by his father: Vincent Jayne of Corning, sons, Jesse Jayne of Corning, NY; son, Eric Jayne of Painted Post, NY; three sisters: Linda (Jim) Salisbury of Oxnard, CA; Laura (John) Dundas of Painted Post, NY, and Peggy Spencer of Corning, NY; three brothers: Robert Jayne of Sterling, CO, Mitchell (Deb) Jayne of Mt. View, AR and Charles (Shelly) Jayne of Corning, NY; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, several great nieces and great nephews.  Steven was predeceased by his mother Betty, brother Bryon Jayne and sister Kathryn Cook.  A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Mt. LABUSKI CATHERINE C. WILLIAMS
The funeral was Tuesday, November 28, in Elmira, NY, for Mrs. Catherine C. Williams, of Elmira, formerly of Morris Run, who died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1972.  She was the widow of Clarence E. Williams. She was born in Morris Run, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Labuski. Mrs. Williams was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Elmira. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Loew, of Elmira; two brothers, John Labuski, of Morris Run, and Raymond Labuski, of Elmira; a sister, Miss Sally Labuski, of Morris Run, and five grandchildren. Burial was in Hope Cemetery, Elmira.

THOMAS L. Aili Selma Pyhtila Age 88, formerly of Van Etten, died Monday, November 27, 2006, at Schuyler Skilled Nursing, Montour Falls, NY. She was born April 16, 1918 in Iron Belt, Wisconsin, the daughter of Waino Henrik Pyhtila and Ida Ylitaoo. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Aini; and brothers, Oscar, Waino, John. Aili is survived by her daughter, Jean Pyhtila, Rio Dell, CA; grandson, Jordan R. Pyhtila and friend, Andrea Morris; great-grandson, Jadon Tyler Pyhtila, all of Rio Dell, CA; brother, Reino (Teresa) Pyhtila, Elmira; sister, Aune Knuutila, Ithaca; brother, Fred (Theresa) Maki, Van Etten; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 2, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. at Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Laura K. Daly officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. before the service. PRATT GOLDA J. GARDNER
Golda J. Age 79, of Elmira, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the Chemung County Nursing Facility in Heritage Park. She was born in Afton, NY, on September 18, 1926, the daughter of the late Rexford V. and Mary R. (Pauly) Pratt. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Gardner; two sons, John and Joseph Gardner; granddaughter, Melissa Tyne. Golda is survived by her son, James and Viki Gardner, Fernley, NV; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, June M. and Gerald Flora, Van Etten, Marion A. Rockwell, Saugerties, NY, Rosemary and Richard Butts, Flagstaff, AZ; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 25, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Van Etten, NY.

 

PRATT June Marie Pratt Flora

Age 69, of Van Etten, NY died with her family by her side on September 22, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Gerald Flora in 2009 and her son Douglas Flora in June of 2013. She is survived by her daughters Penny Flora, Lansing, NY, Pamela (David) Golden, Ithaca, NY; and her son Allen (Marjorie) Flora, Las Vegas, NV; granddaughters Jessica Golden, Ithaca, NY, Ashley Golden, Buffalo, NY, and Elizabeth (Joshua) Siegard, Barton, NY; and great grandson Mason Siegard, Barton, NY. Also surviving are her two sisters Marion Rockwell, Arlington, VA, and Rosemary Butts, Payson, AZ; a large extended family and many friends. She was a graduate of Van Etten class of 1962. June had a full and rewarding career that was community oriented. Although some jobs were paid many were volunteer, as she enjoyed staying busy and keeping involved. Jobs and positions that she held included, Legal Secretary, Town of Van Etten Board of Assessment Review with the position of Chairman; Community Fire & Rescue, where she was an Executive Board Member, Treasurer and Social Member; Van Etten Alumni Association, where she was Treasurer, and at one point Secretary and Vice President; Town of Van Etten Town Clerk; Town of Van Etten Tax Collector; Town of Van Etten Court Clerk; and also on the Van Etten Community Festival Committee. June was a life member of the Van Etten - Spencer VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8139 where she served as Secretary and also as Treasurer. She was also a Finance Committee member on the Southern Tier County Council. Another passion of hers was to put up and take down all the American Flags that lined the streets of both Van Etten and Spencer every year with her family. She did this for over twenty years. Although June enjoyed keeping busy with her work, she also enjoyed quality time with her devoted family. Whether it be shopping or baking with her daughters, projects around the house where everyone was involved, or just having a weekend cookout to just relax and enjoy each other’s' company, she always seemed to enjoy these special times and was always taking pictures for the memories. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00pm Saturday September 28, 2013. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Van Etten, NY. Friends may call from 6-8:00 pm Friday September 27, 2013 or on Saturday from 1-3:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home, 56 North Main Street. John C. Shilling, 86, of Lockwood, formerly of Van Etten, died Dec. 7, 1971 at the Tioga General hospital following an extended illness. Born at Bent Mountain, VA. March 8,1885 he had resided in that area most of his life and was a farmer.   Surviving are his wife, Lena of Elmira; a son, Gilbert of Lockwood ,NY ; four daughters , Mrs.Florence Garson of Citrus Heights, CA. , Mrs. Edith Sparks, of San Pablo,Ca., and Miss Mary Shilling of Elmira, and a brother, Thomas Shilling of Salem, VA. ; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Friends may call at the Arnold Funeral Home in Van Etten , Thursday and Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev.  Ann M. Shoemaker, 54, of Van Etten, NY died March 10, 1991 at Robert Packer Hospital, PA. Born August 1, 1936 in Troy, PA, she was the daughter of Herbert and Eva Cory Shedden. Among her survivors are her husband, Merton Shoemaker of Van Etten; three children and six grandchildren; mother, Eva Shedden of Elmira Heights; sister, Jean Pierce of Horseheads; brothers, Guy (Rita) Shedden of Millerton, PA and Donald Shedden of Elmira; mother and father-in-law. Funeral services were held March 13 at the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer, NY with the Rev. James Peirce officiating and burial to be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Van Etten. Age 55, of Cayuta, NY, died very unexpectedly on Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Cayuga Medical Center. He was born on October 29, 1956 in Troy, PA to the late Glenn and Iona (Brink) Slater Sr. Glenn is survived by his wife, Karen "Missy" Slater of Cayuta; sons, Charles (Jennylee) Slater of Sayre, PA, Greg (Jenny) Slater of Towanda, PA and Leslie Slater of Athens, PA; daughters, Melissa (Scott) Viele of Horseheads and Carrie Wilbur (Brian Osborne) of Elmira; brothers, Paul (Luanne) Slater of Canton, PA, Clifford (Dawn) Slater of Syracuse, NY, Duane (Liz) Slater of Towanda, PA and Liston Slater of Mountain Lake, PA; sisters, Glenda Slater of Troy, PA, Delores (Larry) Brownsberger of TX, Carol Slater of Camptown, PA, Robin Slater and Sara Slater both of Wysox, PA; step-mother, Rosemary Slater of Mountain Lake, PA; former wife, Sheila Ackley of Athens, PA; 12 grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. STRUBLE - WRIGHT, Connie A.
Age 58, of Elmira, NY, died on Sunday, December 14, 2008, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born on October 12, 1950 in Blossburg, PA to the late Leroy Wilbur and Mary Struble. Connie was predeceased by her brothers, David, Charles and Ken Wilbur and sisters, Freida Wright, Eileen Vermitte and Bonnie Tuttle. She is survived by her children, Shawn Wright, Crystal Wright, Elmer (Chico) Wright and Daniel Wright; former husband, Elmer (Junebug) Wright; sisters, Sarah Brann and Mary Mendibles; brother, Francis Wilbur; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and close friends. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 18th from 12 to 1 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow there at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

TASKA - EVANS, Rose M.
Age 68, of Van Etten, died
after a brief illness on Friday, Jul. 2, 2010, at Cayuga Ridge Nursing Facility in Ithaca surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born Feb 25, 1942 in Bronx, NY, a daughter to the late Ernest and Rose (Menge) Taska. She is survived by her husband of nearly 39 years, Arthur Evans Jr.; twin daughter and son, Joyce Evans of Lansing, NY and Joe Evans of Van Etten, NY; son, Ernest (Shelley) Evans of Van Etten, NY; granddaughters, Ashley, Aleshia, Cassidy and Gabriella; sister, Viola; as well as several extended family members and close and caring friends and neighbors. Rose was predeceased by her brothers, Ernest and Michael; her parents, Ernest and Rose; and grandparents, Viola and Joe Menge. She was a devoted wife, caring mother and special grandmother. She graduated from Van Etten Central School in 1960 and more recently was secretary of Van Etten Central School Alumni Association for 19 years. Early in her career, Rose worked for Philadelphia Sales for 10 years until her full time role as mother raising her family. While raising her family she also ran a food co-op from her home in Van Etten for many years. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. WHEELER - Elon Dwight Wheeler, [SRGP 85000]  a resident of Norwich, NY, since 1925, died Wednesday, January 13, 1954, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George F. Godfrey, of 40 Locust St., Norwich. He had been in failing health for several years. Mr. Wheeler was born at Otselic, NY, January 28, 1866, the son of Wakeman and Charlotte Bonney Wheeler. His boyhood was spent in Otselic and Eaton. He attended Colgate Academy and Madison Teachers Training Class and taught school for several years in Pine Woods and Pierceville. In 1890 he married Miss Minnie Mott, who died in 1947. Prior to residing in Norwich he was engaged in farming at Eaton. He was a member of the first Baptist Church of Norwich and served on the Board of Deacons. Mr. Wheeler is well known in Mansfield, having spent much of his life since Mrs. Wheeler's death with his daughter, Mrs. David J. Griffiths, at the Baptist Parsonage. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Godfrey, Mrs. Griffiths, and Mrs. Lyra M. Brown, of Syracuse, NY; nine grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Breese Funeral Home, Norwich, the Rev. Donald Tubbs, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. - Mansfield Advertiser, January 1954

WIIKI Jacob William
Age 74, Van Etten, died Sunday, September 16, 2007, at Tioga Nursing Facility, Waverly, NY. He was born in Dryden, NY on February 12, 1933, the son of John Edward Wiiki and Julia Buchanan. Jake attended Dryden High School, Class of 1951, playing football and basketball. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Mineral Wells, Texas, Kimpo Air Force Base, Korea, and Goose Bay, Labrador. Jake worked for Robinson Airlines (Mohawk Airlines) several years. He retired in 1978 from Iron Work's Union, Local 436, Elmira, NY. Jake has been very active with the Van Etten Youth Association, serving as President and Umpire. He was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Lodge #775. Jake was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Jane Parke Wiiki; his sister, Julia Alice Wiiki; his brothers, John Henry Wiiki and Roy Edward Wiiki. He is survived by a son, Jack Wiiki, Van Etten; daughter and son-in-law, Lauriann V. and David Nicewander, Richmond, VA; brother, Raymond C. Wiiki, Lancaster, CA; two sisters, Marion Anna Jolly, Groton, NY and Irene Josephine Tweitmann, Palm Bay, FL; two sisters-in-law, Julia (Robert) Wandell, VanEtten, NY and Sally R. Parke, Martin, SD. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 19, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home, Spencer, NY, and Thursday, September 20, 2007, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Van Etten Community United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Darlene Fish officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Van Etten, NY. RUTH MIRIAM WOERNLEY RAUTIO
ORLANDO, FL - Ruth Miriam Woernley Rautio, 92, of Orlando, FL, died July 30, 2009, after an extended illness.Born October 16, 1916, in Van Etten, NY, she was the daughter of Augustus and Miriam Clark Woernley. She spent most of her life in Van Etten, Spencer, Ithaca, Danby, and Tioga Center, and moved from Waverly to Orlando in 1984.  She could crochet a fine tablecloth, sew anything needed, manage a garden that would feed a family for a year, and identify every bird, tree, and plant on the farm. She loved books and learning, and inspired her children to do the same. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren and their children. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Raymond and Laurence; sisters, Anna Jayne and Laura Buck; and ex-husband, Eino "Ed" Rautio. She is survived by her children, Jean (John) Snowberg of Jonesborough, TN, Roger of Seligman, MO, Henry (Renate) of Sierra Vista, AZ, James (Jean) of Phoenix, NY, Teresa (Michael) Bishop of Smithboro, NY, and Trudi (Kevin) Short of Orlando, FL; as well as 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three [correction, should be 5] great-great-grandchildren.  Graveside service will be Saturday, August 15, 10 a.m., at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Van Etten, NY. Pastor Jim Fox from the Crossroads Family Ministries in Sayre, PA will officiate.
