I am not sure where they lived. I'll need to do some research.
Ella and George Spink are buried in Woodlawn.
Some place I got the idea they were originally from either Bradford or
Tioga, Pa.
I found Asa Brooks and family including Ella Almeda listed as Almeda in 1860
census.
The Brooks were living in Baldwin, N. Chemung.
George C. was listed in the 1880, 1891, 1917 City of Elmira Directories.
So I guess you could link the Spink Bible to Elmira. At one time Calvin
Spink
lived in town of Horseheads on the Middle or Ridge Road. When he died he
was living in Wellsburg. Now here is where it gets good: my grandmother
married
Calvin Spink as 2nd husband, grandson of George and Ella Spink; my
uncle/grandmother's son
married granddaughter of Calvin Spink.
