Indenture Between J.J. Gorham and Zina Beeman of Pike Twp. 13 April 1861
 

This Indenture made the thirteenth day of April A.D. eighteen hundred & sixty one, between J. J. Gorham of the township of Pike, County of Bradford, State of Pennsylvania of the one part and Zina Beeman of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth: Whereas the above mentioned Zina Beeman has made a good and sufficient Deed to the said J. J. Gorham of a tract of land situated in Pike, Bradford County, the consideration of which is that the said Gorham shall support and maintain the said Zina Beeman and Ruth Ann Beeman his wife during the term of their natural lives and whereas the said Beeman is desirous of living separate and apart from the family of the said Gorham. Therefore it is agreed that the said Gorham shall render to the said Beeman one third of the products of said farm and of the profits arising from all stock thereon for the term of five years following the date of said indenture. The said Beeman hereby agrees that for the five years following one third of the products of said property shall be and is in lieu of and complete and full satisfaction for the support and maintenance for which the said Gorham is beholden by the terms of said deed before mentioned. In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above mentioned. Signed sealed and delivered.
